Asheville has a few great barbecue places around town. We have been to them all several times. Moe’s Original BBQ on Sweeten Creek Rd in the Biltmore Village area has now risen to the top of our charts. And it seems so with other locals as well, as we have bumped into Paul Choi, Ty Hallock, Joe Jakubielski and many others there on several occasions.

I recently ordered the Chicken and Pork combo plate and it was delish!!

Another person in my group ordered the Ribs and loved them!

I went ahead and checked the ratings on sites like Yelp and Urbanspoon, and Moe’s Original BBQ also has the highest ratings in the Asheville area. I may just become a staple at this place. So YUM!!
