There are so many great events happening in Asheville just about any day of the week. Here are a few that are going on during the month of March 2013 that we think you should know about and attend:
And, we have a special birthday party coming up for Daniel Allen called Birthcation on March 5th at Pack’s Tavern in downtown Asheville. Come celebrate @adajers birthday with awesome friends in the community.
If you know anything about community gatherings and projects, Ignite should be something you are familiar with. If you had 5 minutes on stage, what would you say? You have 20 slides/photos/drawings that you could use in your 5 minute presentation. Who can apply to speak? Just about anyone with a vision, a passion, something you want the World to hear. Here is a video introducing Ignite Asheville 2013
The last Ignite Asheville event ended up bigger and better than any of us on the team could have imagined. Although there are many Ignite events worldwide, this was the first one for Asheville North Carolina. Pam Lewis headed up the team and did an amazing job of leading the initiative, taking action, and delegating to a great group. Earlier this year, the red carpet was laid. Speakers, photographers, videographers and sound crews got ready; the doors were opened, Ignite Asheville was “Sold Out” and everyone had a tremendous experience.
Now we are getting ready to do it again on February 19, 2013 at the tasting room at Highland Brewing Company in East Asheville. This is a yearly event that you definitely want to check out as it brings a community closer, educates, and extracts ideas and talent that is many times missed. You can apply to be a Speaker at Ignite Asheville. You can see the Ignite AVL YouTube Channel to watch videos from the 2012 event.
Having a wedding in Asheville North Carolina is a dream come true for so many. There is just something about surrounding yourself in these mountains and saying “I Do” to the one you love. Now we are not saying that if you really love each other, you will definitely get married in Asheville; but we think you should seriously consider it.
There are plenty of options in Asheville for a great wedding. We would like to take a moment to highlight Hidden River which is a 17+ acre farm about 10 minutes East of downtown. Their wedding packages are tremendous and they can even house up to 54 people on-site in their accommodations.
We stopped to view the acreage and were stunned. An immediate peace and solitude came and took us away from the hustle and bustle of life. Perfectly secluded in nature so these moments can be all about each other. Everything someone could need for a Wedding or Event in Asheville was either there or readily available.
After the tour, we went home and pulled up the website and saw so many great testimonials. Makes us want to have the same incredible experience. To top it all off, they were chosen by recent brides in a survey by The Knot as a “Best of Weddings 2012” location. Are you looking for the perfect place to get married in the Asheville NC area? This is it! You can Contact Hidden River for a tour of this beautiful property.
