Sacred Women’s Circle offers Wholeness

ASHEVILLE, NC – Nationally known facilitator of feminist spirituality processes, Anyaa T. McAndrew, MA, LPC, NCC, offers a Sacred Women’s Circle Tuesday, April 27, from 7-9 p.m., at Women’s Health and Wellness Center.

“The circle empowers women to work with their wounded inner cores, completing the process of healing, in order to move into the multidimensional reality that is our spiritual birthright,” says McAndrew, who is best known for her work in the U.S. and abroad with the Shamanic Priestess Process™ and the Shamanic Magdalene Mysteries™.

“The ‘Great Shift of the Ages’ is upon us, and women are being called to lead the way,” she says.

The term, Great Shift, refers to the much-discussed turning of the Mayan Calendar most commonly referred to as “2012.” Others believe the actual shift occurs much sooner, in 2011. Whether one places credence on the anticipated shift or not, there’s little doubt that times of great change in society and culture are at hand, McAndrew says. And women of all faiths and spiritual paths are beginning to look at collective fear, worry, and anger, and say “There’s got to be a better way.”

The way of the future, says McAndrew, lies in co-creative process in which all women are equals who commit to hold space for growth and healing. Women at this circle are asked to bring a journal, an altar object or picture symbolizing a theme in their present lives, and something to sit on. The circle includes a guided meditation followed by opportunity to share, speak, release or commit.

The Women’s Health and Wellness Center is located at 24 Arlington Street, 28801. The circle is open to all women, but those who can afford to contribute are asked for $10-20 to support the two hour event – or to offer an energetic trade of fresh, live foods.
