I have never been more proud than I am now to be the Chairman of MACPAC. At our second annual Second Amendment Rally in Downtown Asheville, I was able to meet hundreds of new faces. It was also such an awesome opportunity to stand side-by-side with those familiar faces who I met just one year ago. Since our first rally, we’ve been able to turn MACPAC into the fastest growing non-partisan political group in Western North Carolina. For that I am eternally thankful to you. You are what makes MACPAC special, and I thank you. For those who don’t know who or what MACPAC is, MACPAC began in 2012 as an effort to unite a divided country. Non-partisan, MACPAC works to restore Western North Carolina to greatness by promoting education and items of action, not rhetoric. We welcome people of all political backgrounds to join in our mission to promote limited, responsible government. Firmly rooted in the Constitution, MACPAC believes in the power of the people, and their unalienable rights. Check out our website, iMACPAC.org or email us to get involved. It’s our community at stake after all. MACPAC isn’t just a gun group though. It’s also definitely not a group that talks. MACPAC is a group that does. Since its inception MACPAC’s sole purpose was to actually affect change, something neither party has been able to do. This is why we have many more events scheduled this year, the first of which is our new member Meet ’n Greet. Well, it’s for all members actually, and it’s a great time to just casual find out about MACPAC, and see how your voice can impact the path of change we all want to see happen here in WNC. So make sure to mark your calendar for March 27 at 6PM at Frank’s Roman Pizza on Sardis Road in Candler. From 6-7PM we will socialize and strategize. Beginning at 7PM is Frank’s weekly trivia, so stick around, enjoy some food, and we’ll break off into teams and have some fun. Can’t wait to see you there!
