The Asheville History Center at the Smith-McDowell House will continue in their series of the Crafty Historian with a Crafty Easter on April 12, 2014 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Participants may choose 2 different crafts, a goodie bag of Easter prizes, candy-filled eggs and enjoy various Easter games. Tickets for the event are $5.00 each (non-crafting children are $3.00). Reservations are suggested, but not required. Reservations may be made by April 5, 2014 by calling the Center at 828-253-9231 or by emailing Education Coordinator, Lisa Whitfield at education@wnchistory.org.

The crafts will be identified into age-appropriate groups: Age 3 to 5, age 5 to 8 and age 9 and above. All children will receive a Color-Your-Own Easter photo frame.
