SART enthusiastically announces its special upcoming production of As Time Goes By: A Cabaret of Songs from the Silver Screen. Ever since Al Jolson Burst into song in The Jazz Singer (1927), Hollywood has been creating some of the most memorable songs that we all love. “Moon River” “Over the Rainbow,” “Mona Lisa,” and “The Way You Look Tonight” are just a few of the amazing songs that won an Academy Award and the list goes on. You will want to join SART for an evening of some the greatest songs ever written, including a medley of some of the best of Disney! This will be an evening of first-class entertainment!

The Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre has a 40-year tradition of bringing significant professional theatre to the region, including works reflecting the history of the Southern Appalachians and more than 80 world premieres. Though a professional company, SART serves as a learning platform for students interested in theater on the campus of Mars Hill University.
