Chef Cindy – now residing in Asheville NC and giving back to the community

Earth Day Celebration thru April 29 at the North Buncombe Middle School, 12:00 PM for approximately 1 hour, 2 Sessions Daily and the Menu Items are Vegetarian Stir-Fry and Fresh Fruit Smoothies

The project is sponsored by Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project (ASAP), located at 306 West Haywood Street, STE 200, Asheville, NC 28801. The Farm to School Program is designed to give children positive experiences with fresh, locally grown food by supporting school gardens, farm field trips and school/community demonstrations. The program connects teachers with chefs and volunteers who conduct the cooking classes and resources for working with the children.

Cindy Warlick will be conducting the demonstration. She has 15 of experience in the culinary/hospitality business. She relocated to WNC from Los Angeles in 2002 and has volunteered her time with the Permaculture Gathering located in Celo and now the Chefs Move to School Program. She is a delightful and passionate chef that feels strongly about giving back to her community.
