Hello! My name is Hugo Gutierrez. I’m a local photographer in Asheville, NC with a passion to explore. I had a desk job prior to dedicating most of my time to a camera, and it was not as fun as photographing mountain views or people. I purchased my first camera when I was inspired by a friend who created beautiful images. But my passion for landscape photography began on a cold morning on Mt. Mitchell. Watching the sunrise from the highest point this side of the Mississippi was like nothing I had ever witnessed. From that point on, I decided to go on a mission and capture the beauty from many mountain tops and visit most of the waterfalls in the area. I also enjoy photo sessions with people. I have a great time interacting with clients and always enjoy meeting new people. I love making people smile and want to capture something they will always look back at and enjoy. Whether someone is looking at the images I took from the top of a mountain, or viewing their images from our photo session, my main goal is to make people happy.
