Smallcakes Cupcakery: A cupcake and ice cream franchise with locations in 26 States and also 2 International locations is getting ready to open in Asheville NC. This goes to show you how much the foodie scene is rapidly growing in the Western North Carolina area, as this location in particular has the Coldstone Creamery ice cream shop right across the street from them in Biltmore Park, and Yaya’s Frozen Yogurt just two block away. And cupcakes are pretty big in the Asheville area with some delicious spots such as Short Street Cakes, Ruth & Ranshaw, and a La CupCakes. Yet, we are still a long way off from saying that there are too many cupcakes in Asheville. The Asheville Foodie Community definitely approves of more cupcake action in town. Bring It!
