When I am downtown Asheville and in the mood for coffee I love to go by High Five for a baristas choice. If I am in looking for tea, Dobra is a great place to relax or grab a tea to go with your favorite gluten free treat.
Both of Edna’s locations are nice and cozy. At Edna’s they roast their own coffee and I am obsessed with their light roast. They have delicious gluten free sandwiches and muffins.
I’m a tea drinker, so I would highly recommend Dobra Tea – any of their three locations.
They also offer some yummy treats to go with their teas, and if you ask, their tea specialists can recommend the best tea to go with which dish.
My personal FUN tea is a Matcha Bubble Tea. You enjoy a healthy tea, with fun little tapioca balls on the bottom to chew on!
Odd’s Cafe is my neighborhood joint but if I’m out and about I’ll hit Highwire Coffee Roasters.
I’ve been known to frequent the baristas at Filo’s Pastries, Malaprops Bookstore, Liberty Cafe, Double D’s in the distinctive red double-decker bus downtown and the quirky BattleCat Coffee Bar in West Asheville.
Vortex Doughnuts, in addition to crafting amazing gourmet doughnuts, also brews a mean cup o’ Joe.
