  5. The Grove Arcade is an indoor and outdoor mall that features several restaurants and shopping options. This is also the spot of the infamous Battery Park Book Exchange and Wine Bar.
  6. Stroll downtown Asheville on a Friday or Saturday night. Just walk around, eat, drink, meet some of the people, entertainers, musicians, hipsters and hippies on the streets of AVL.
  7. The Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary has a nice nature walk and a view of the Lake. A great place to relax, think and enjoy nature.
  8. Beaver Lake is has a walking and jogging trail that many people use. Great spot to picnic, throw a Frisbee, enjoy the scenery and waters edge.
  9. You have fun for the whole family on Wall Street in downtown Asheville with Fired Up Creative Lounge and Climb Max Climbing.
  10. Zip Line Adventures can experienced at Navitat Canopy Adventures and the Treetops Adventure Park.
  11. You can take a tour of the City by riding on Asheville Trolley Tours or Gray Line Trolley Tours of Asheville. Or, maybe you want some comedy in your life? In this case, you want to ride on LaZoom Tours.
  12. Take a Tour of Biltmore Village. This is the official Historic District of Asheville North Carolina. A train and a river runs through it. Located directly outside the gates of the Biltmore Estate; this area has plenty of eateries and lots of shopping options.
  13. Lake Julian in south Asheville is great place to rent a canoe or paddle boat and venture 300 acres of water. They also have picnic pavilions, a playground, grills, volleyball courts, ducks, and fishing.
  14. Lake Louise in Weaverville NC has a walking and jogging trail all around it. There are also picnic pavilions, a playground, ducks, and a grassy area for recreation.
