From buskers to bluegrass, classical to country or jazz to jam bands, one cannot escape nor ignore the vibrant musical collective that is continuously bursting out from under Asheville’s many street corners, sidewalk cafes and music halls.
Here at AskAshevile.com we are dedicated to going far beyond providing traditional forms of coverage regarding Asheville’s vast musical landscape.
Instead, our mission is to uniquely support and promote the business, musicians as well the legion of often-unsung individuals behind the scenes that have allowed Asheville to become one of the premier musical destinations in America today.
Through strategic partnerships, marketing vehicles and public relations efforts, one of our primary goals at AskAsheville.com is to succor local businesses tied to Asheville’s countless musical endeavors to flourish alongside the city itself.
We are beyond excited to begin this journey alongside Asheville’s eclectic artistic community and we relish the opportunity to become even a small part of city’s burgeoning musical fraternity.
Part of living in the Asheville area is being surrounded by the arts; musicians being part of the core. There are so many musicians from full-time bands, to business executive by day and bluegrass fiddle player by night. Mountain and Funk music is all part of the Asheville heritage. Bands such as Now You See Them, The Booty Band, The River Rats, Westsound, The Infamous Stringdusters and Underhill Rose are just a few of the groups that heavily contribute to our community, along with many others, in song and entertainment.
There are plenty of music venues in the Asheville area who feature local and regional music; and also national and international sets. The Orange Peel is our flagship venue in downtown Asheville that features shows for all ages, 18+, and 21 and up. Also Firestorm Cafe, The Grey Eagle, Asheville Music Hall, Isis and the list goes on. Great venues that have amazing events and entertainment for locals and tourists. Then we have restaurant venues that feature live music on weekends and certain days.
