NWA, well Ice Cube at least, comes to Asheville

Back in the days, a group of teenagers in Compton (South Central Los Angeles) California started a hip hop group called NWA (Niggaz Wit Attitudes) and consisted of Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Eazy E (RIP), DJ Yella, and MC Ren. Rebels in their own time and world, banned by mainstream radio for speaking the truth about the drugs and gang violence going on in their neighborhoods.  One of their most popular songs was “Fu.. The Police” where they rapped about the war against law enforcement in their City.
